Description

Intertwined depicts a scenic vista from the top of Mt. Helix in La Mesa, California. The path draws you into the main point of interest which is the twisty tree. Once there you can take in the entire panorama which can be quite breathtaking. The background is a rock facade from another location to bring in interest and create the illusion of a magnificient giant sunrise. The tree and surroundings are given a treatment that is high in contrast that accentuates the already magnificent textures of the subject. Surrounding the entire image is a dot pattern that I use quite a bit in my montages to give it a more contemporary modern feel.
