One of my happy places is this place — the Spanish Village Art Center. It is here that I share a studio with three other artists in the heart of Balboa jPark in San Diego, California. I enjoy being in a creative environment with other artists and showing and talking about our work with the public, which includes a fair amount of tourists visiting from around the world. Every few years we brighten up the patio with new paint to freshen up the vibrancy of the tiles. This is what it looked like shortly after that and after a beautiful rain with moody sky, enchanting light and a little puddle on the right. You can’t help but be cheery after seeing this hopeful, colorful image.
